Our panel discussion was part of an invigorating afternoon to celebrate Geoff Mulgan, CEO of Nesta, for the launch of his latest book Social Innovation: How societies find the power to change. Nesta is a UK-based foundation and leader in global innovation.

Tapping into his vast experience as advisor to governments, business and foundations worldwide, we heard from Geoff on how social innovation can provide answers to today's social, economic and sustainability issues.

I was invited to be part of a multi-generational panel that unpacked social innovation in our Asian context – what principles are universal, and what contextualisation is needed? Other panellists included:
