IDEAX INNOVATION TOOLKIT DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT AND PILOT
SINGAPORE MANAGEMENT UNIVERSITY

In co-creating SMU-X’s first innovation toolkit, IdeaX, my team and I led a wonderful 9-month iterative process to create a set of cards, designed to guide and challenge users in tackling challenges with more rigour and creativity. Underpinned by SMU-X pedagogy, the cards are useful in facilitating conversations, ideating solutions and evaluating ideas. To ensure the usability of the cards, we also worked with SMU-X to design an interactive, pilot workshop that engaged 30 students to experience the cards:

  1. Explore new perspectives that will prime innovative problem-solving

  2. Train minds to identify connections across multiple disciplines

  3. Discover new ways to reframe and elevate solutions
