Browhaus Eye Define

Sponsored: Browhaus Eye Define Treatment

I went for Browhaus' Eye Define treatment awhile ago and thought I'd share my experience with you guys.

Consultation

I was quite scared of the impending pain since the treatment was to be done on my eyelids where it would be extra sensitive. However, the therapist at Browhaus was very reassuring, telling me she has done this for years and that the treatment would only last for about 20 to 30 minutes. She drew on the eyeliner for me to show the thickness of eyeliner I would prefer depending on my eye shape.

During the treatment, the therapist continued to explain the Eye Define treatment and what I would expect. Each therapist in Browhaus has to have at least 2 years of experience before they are able to perform the treatment, so I was in good hands.

She then applied a top grade numbing cream and began treatment. How much pain you will experience is dependent on your pain tolerance and will differ from person to person. To me, I felt like it was quite painful as my eyes were very sensitive to the needle. The whole procedure took about 1.5 hours including consultation.

Post-treatment

So after the treatment, just as the therapist had said, my lids were red and swollen. I was given Browhausโ€™ aftercare products -build and fix. Build and fix works together to help regenerating and healing your skin post-treatment. The process of scabbing was itchy, but build and fix helped in soothing it.

Since I was specifically told not to let water touch my eyelids, it made showering and washing my face a little challenging. I highly recommend using facial wipes for more control.

The downtime would differ from everyone, but most people take about a week or so. For me, the recovery period took longer than expected.

Post-recovery

After the scabbing stopped, I could see a nice and subtle black line on my eyelids which was exactly what I wanted. This made doing my make up in the morning super easy since my eyes already looked pretty! It can last up to 3 years depending on your skin condition with proper aftercare. Overall, I would recommend this for people who want to cut down the time taken for doing their make up. However, this really isn't for the faint hearted, so be prepared to endure some pain!
