Social Media for Good Run 2 (Workshop) - FULL

Location: ITE Central
Cost: FREE

The global village of today is home to millennials who practically live, breathe and play connected. As digital natives, almost every youth is connected to at least 1 social media platform at any given time.

Leveraging on their personal publishing spaces such as Instagram and Facebook, the programme is created for youths to consciously engage and promote social awareness as active citizens.

When done right, it can grow into a powerful peer-to-peer influencing opportunity rooted in empathy and giving.

The programme involves a three-hour workshop on how to create positive influence through social media, a real-life case challenge with a local charity as well as a mentorship session with industry leaders and experts. Top 3 groups of each run will pitch their ideas to the organisation and get an opportunity to see their campaigns come to life!

This time, Make the Change has teamed with the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Singapore (MDAS) to engage participants in creating a meaningful and interesting social media campaign to help MDAS grow and develop their initiatives.

Learn how you can use social media to activate positive change.
